PA to the Principal

Permanent, part-time, school term time plus 5 days. Work pattern - 27.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 7.45am ? 1.15pm. Note that the start time is fixed but beyond that hours are negotiable. Salary: point 21 ?19,939 actual pro-rata salary ?12,613.

The Principal requires an experienced and enthusiastic PA who can:

  • Provide a confidential, personal and administrative service to the Senior Leadership team
  • Maintain the efficient running of the Academy office, delivering an administrative service to other staff including the School Business Team
  • Be a prime point of reference for staff, pupils and parents if they require information or have a concern or enquiry, particularly in the absence of the Principal or Vice Principal
  • Liaise colleagues and others outside the school, particularly parents, professional associations, wider Trust colleagues and the local community, in a highly professional manner and representing the high standards, values and expectations of the Academy

Job Description ? PA to Principal

Purpose of job:

To provide a confidential, personal and administrative service to the Principal and Senior Leadership team

To maintain the efficient running of the school office, acting as a personal assistant to the Principal and administrative service to other staff including the School Business Team

To be a prime point of reference for staff, pupils and parents if they require information or have a concern or enquiry, particularly in the absence of the Principal or Vice Principal .

To assist in the pupil admission process through to enrolment, liaising effectively with all parties involved in admissions, and addressing enquiries

To assist the Senior Leadership team ( SLT ) in managing all aspects of transition across the Academy and in particular Early Years admissions and Secondary transition

To liaise, with wider Trust colleagues and others outside the school, particularly parents, professional associations and the local community, in a highly professional manner and representing the high standards, values and expectations of the organisation.
