Jakarta, Hilton News –
Nayunda Nabila is said to be an honorary contract worker entrusted by former Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono at the Quarantine Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kemenan).
This was conveyed by the Former Secretary of the Quarantine Agency of the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture Wisnu Haryana. He said Nayunda was paid Rp 4.3 million per month as an honorary contract worker with the task of being an assistant to the daughter of former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Indira Chunda Tita. Indira currently serves as a member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia from the Nasdem Party.
Wisnu conveyed this when presented as a witness in the follow-up hearing of the case of alleged extortion and receipt of gratuities with the defendants former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) et al at the Corruption Criminal Court (Tipikor) at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN), Monday (20/5).
“The witness knows that there are honorary Ministry employees who were also entrusted by Mr. Yasin Limpo and his family at the Ministry?” the prosecutor asked.
“There is, sir. If I’m not mistaken, in the name of Nayunda,” Vishnu replied.
“Who is this? How come? What’s the story?” the prosecutor continued.
“At that time, the direction from Building A was also, Mr. Karo if I’m not mistaken, that this Nayunda would be her assistant to Ibu Thita [SYL’s daughter, Indira Chunda Thita] so that her honor was deposited in the [Ministry] Quarantine,” Wisnu explained.
To that answer, the prosecutor then asked if Vishnu knew that Nayunda was a singer. Initially, Vishnu claimed not to know that Nayunda worked as a singer.
Furthermore, the prosecutor also criticized Vishnu regarding the amount of salary given by the Ministry to Nayunda as an honorary worker.
“That singer, what singer? The witness once explained yes, I am short time, yes, from the singer Rising Star yes in BAP witness number 11?” said the prosecutor reading BAP Vishnu.
“Yes,” he said.
“Well, the connection I want to ask is there an honor also received by this Nayunda from the Ministry of Agriculture? As a contract worker, yes,” the prosecutor asked again.
“How much if he receives per month?” the prosecutor continued.
“If the honor per month is IDR 4,300,000 (IDR 4.3 million),” said Wisnu.
Nevertheless, Vishnu explained that Nayunda status as an honorary contract worker did not last long. This is because Nayunda rarely enters the office.
“In fact he didn’t come into that office?” the prosecutor asked.
“Once entered, sir. Twice if I’m not mistaken,” said Vishnu.
“Twice. What is the job to give money too?” said the prosecutor.
“Actually, if the duties are in the general part of him, sir, in the protocol too, yes, protocol,” he added.
“But, he said his aide Mrs. Thita. Does Mrs. Thita have an office at the Ministry of Agriculture?” the prosecutor asked in surprise.
“No,” Vishnu said.
“Ever been this finding? Give honor to people who are not based in Barantan [Ministry of Quarantine Agency]?” the prosecutor asked.
“As for the findings, never. However, it only lasted one year because he was never in the office, and I told him to ‘Oh, no, we can’t. We stop honor,” said Wisnu.
As a result of dismissing Nayunda as an honorary contract worker, Wisnu claimed to have received a reprimand from Kasdi Subagyono, who at that time served as Secretary General of the Ministry.
In the trial, there were three defendants present, namely SYL, Kasdi Subagyono, and the former Director of Agricultural Tools and Machinery of the Directorate General
Infrastructure and Facilities of the Ministry of Agriculture Muhammad Hatta. They were charged with extortion up to IDR 44,546,079,044 and gratuities were considered bribes in the amount of IDR 40,647,444,494 during the 2020-2023 period.
SYL was also prosecuted by the KPK for alleged Money Laundering (TPPU). The case is still rolling in the investigation stage.
