Jakarta, Hilton News –
Presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto stated that he would build a flagship school in Langowan, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi. This was conveyed by Prabowo when conducting a campaign in Langowan, his mother’s hometown.
Prabowo said the desire to build a superior school in Langowan would be realized regardless of the outcome of the 2024 presidential election.
“I also have an intention, wanting to create a flagship school here. To be president or not to be president, I want to create a superior school here,” Prabowo said in front of residents who crowded Schwarz Square, Langowan, Monday (5/2).
It is known that Langowan is the hometown of Prabowo’s family from his mother’s line, Dora Marie Sigar. This area does have special value for Prabowo.
Prabowo then expressed his gratitude for the welcome and support that has been given by the people of North Sulawesi so far. Prabowo also promised to return to Minahasa one day.
“So I ask for leave, can I go home? Can? Thanks. Thanks. Thank you for the welcome, brothers. Thanks. It’s amazing,” he said.
Before meeting the masses at Schwarz Square, Prabowo first made a pilgrimage to the tomb of his extended family Sigar-Maengkom. Prabowo’s presence was welcomed by the enthusiasm of the public.
The enthusiasm of the community was seen along the way from Sam Ratulangi Airport, Manado to Langowan. They are willing to wait on the side of the road to just see Prabowo up close.
