A village head (kades) in Beber District, Cirebon Regency is suspected of sexually harassing his residents. The victim was a 60-year-old woman.
The cadet with the initials SRT even brought coffee provisions to increase male stamina when visiting the victim’s house.
Beber Police Chief of Cirebon City Resort, AKP Eddie said the alleged sexual harassment by the cadet occurred on Monday (20/5) at around 13.00 WIB.
The incident began when SRT came to the victim at his residence. At that time, the cadet met directly with the victim. The two also chatted.
In the midst of conversations, SRT often issues chats that are considered impolite. But the victim did not pay much attention.
“Actually, the cadet is very close to the victim’s family. So the victim also doesn’t think that way. So from the beginning the language (kades) was already so. It’s not good,” Eddie said as quoted by detikcom, Tuesday (21/5).
At that time, SRT also asked for coffee. The coffee was deliberately brought by the cadet himself. It turned out that the coffee brought by the cades was a coffee to increase male stamina.
“The coffee was indeed brought by the village chief himself. And the coffee brought is a coffee (enhancer) of male stamina, “said Eddie.
After making the stamina-boosting coffee, the cades’ action became even more so. In fact, he had tried to hold the victim’s body parts.
“So after drinking that coffee, he (cades) started to want to mess around,” said Eddie.
The victim tried to resist. He fended off the hands of cadets who wanted to do brazen. At that time, the victim then immediately contacted her son.
“The victim immediately called his son. It’s finally coming,” Eddie said.
Eddie said police have not yet prosecuted the acts of sexual harassment allegedly committed by the cadet. This is because the victim’s family has not yet made a police report.
The cadet faces administrative and criminal sanctions for alleged sexual harassment of its citizens.
For this incident, the victim temporarily only asked the cadet to make a statement and admit his actions. The victim requested that the cadet confess his actions in front of the public.
“This victim requested that the village chief confess publicly in front of the community. This is to improve the good name of the victim,” Eddie said.
Mediation efforts were also facilitated by the sub-district at Village Hall on Tuesday. The cadet also admitted and apologized for his actions.
