The National Mandate Party (PAN) has declared full and loyal support for the pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 election.
This is because the Prabowo-Gibran pair is considered to be able to answer future challenges and provide opportunities for young people who want to make real changes.
Deputy Chairman of PAN, Viva Yoga Mauladi, said that Prabowo’s decision to choose to be accompanied by Gibran was a clear proof of his commitment to building Indonesia with young people.
“This is a positive thing, because in facing problems in the future, we need the perspective of young people. Gibran is not an ordinary young person either. He is tech-savvy, knows how to use it wisely,” Yoga said, quoted Friday (2/2).
On this occasion, Viva also conveyed Gibran’s appearance during the second vice president debate that had attracted controversy because of his communication style with other vice president candidates.
Related to this, Yoga believes Gibran has become an example that the enthusiasm of young people must be balanced with morals and ethics.
“Gibran was indeed too excited yesterday, but he still knows the limits. He immediately apologized to all candidates for vice president after the debate,” Yoga said.
“This shows that Gibran has charity. We need decisive leaders and young people with bright ideas and morals, and Prabowo-Gibran has it all,” Yoga continued.
