Police seized a number of items while searching the residence of Pegi Setiawan alias Pegi alias Perong who is a fugitive in the murder case of Vina and her lover in Cirebon, West Java.
“Yes, that’s right (Pegi’s house was searched), there were some items (brought),” said West Java Police Reskrimum Director Kombes Surawan when confirmed, Wednesday (22/5).
Nevertheless, Surawan has not revealed what items were brought from Pegi’s residence. Including, whether the seized items are related to Vina’s murder case or not.
“Meanwhile, we check first,” he said.
Earlier, the police arrested one DPO in the name of Pegi Setiawan alias Pegi alias Perong in the murder case of Vina and her lover, Eki.
Pegi was arrested by police in the Bandung area on Tuesday (21/5). During the escape, Pegi is said to have undergone a profession as a builder.
“So Pegi who we DPO the last information we got was working as a construction worker in Bandung,” said Head of Public Relations of West Java Regional Police Kombes Pol Jules Abraham Abast.
Now, the police are still pursuing two other fugitives in this case, namely Andi and Dani.
