The number two presidential candidate, Prabowo Subianto invited tens of thousands of West Java people to pray for Palestinians who are now hit by armed conflict.
In the prayer, Prabowo and the community hoped for the help of Allah SWT so that the suffering of Gazans would end soon.
This was conveyed by Prabowo during his visit to Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GLBA), Bandung City, West Java, Thursday (8/2).
“Let us rejoice, we remember our brothers in Gaza, in Palestine. (They) Always experiencing a danger, very great suffering, being bombed, their children are many victims,” he said.
“Let us pray to the presence of the Almighty that they are always protected, helped, freed from all the sufferings, threats and calamities they experience,” he added.
In front of tens of thousands of supporters, Prabowo also reminded that February 8 coincided with Isra Mi’raj. Prabowo also congratulated the people who celebrated.
“Brethren, today February 8th is for Muslims a great day, that is, we today commemorate Isra Mi’raj, a good day, a great day. I congratulate all people who celebrate,” Prabowo said.
