Prabowo Reports 26 New Hospitals to Jokowi, Ready to Serve the TNI and the Community

Indonesian Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto said that his party had completed 26 new hospitals to provide health services to all TNI soldiers and the general public.

He conveyed this when accompanying Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to inaugurate the State Defense Center Hospital (RSPPN) Panglima Besar Sudirman and 25 other TNI hospitals at RSPPN, Jl. RC. Veteran Raya No.178, Bintaro, Kec. Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, Monday (19/2).

Meanwhile, today 20 other hospitals were inaugurated spread across 11 Army Hospitals, 3 Navy Hospitals and 6 Air Force Hospitals.

“11 Army hospitals are located in Pangkal Pinang, Padang, Aceh, Atambua, Bima, Gorontalo, Mamuju, Tanjung Selor, Samarinda, Manokwari and Sorong. 3 Indonesian Navy Hospital in Pontianak, Padang, Sorong. 6 Air Force hospitals in Solo, Malang, Madiun, Subang, Bandung and Pekanbaru,” Prabowo said in a written statement, Monday (19/2).

Prabowo hopes that the construction of the entire hospital which is located in the location around the TNI base and residential areas will be useful for all TNI Soldiers and also serve the general public.

On the other hand, Jokowi also appreciated Prabowo’s move. He also hopes that the hospital that has been built can be useful as a disaster response hospital such as the Covid 19 pandemic

“The Covid-19 pandemic has taught us how important it is for complete health facilities, hospitals with adequate human resource readiness and facilities to overcome health emergencies like we have experienced. For this reason, I appreciate the construction of RSPPN and 25 hospitals initiated by Kemhan,” he concluded.
