Electability Rises, Zulhas Optimistic PAN Can Break Double Digits

The electability of the National Mandate Party (PAN) rose to 6.4 percent in a survey by the Indonesian Political Indicators agency. In previous surveys, PAN was at 3-4 percent.

PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) welcomed the survey results. Even Zulhas is optimistic that PAN can break through double digits in the 2024 general election.

“PAN will be double digits. Alhamdulillah, we PAN can survey 6.4 percent of the Indicators, which has never been before, PAN if surveyed is 3-4 percent, “said Zulhas in Cirebon City, Saturday (10/2).

Furthermore, Zulhas is optimistic that PAN’s electability will continue to rise to 10 percent. Moreover, PAN continues to reach out to the people and offer concrete solutions to various national problems.

“This is the survey (almost) 6.5 percent. If the survey is 6.5 percent, hopefully PAN (later in the election) can be above 10 percent, amen,” Zulhas said.

Previously reported, PAN’s electability rose to 6.4 percent. This was revealed from the results of a survey by the Indonesian Political Indicators institution regarding the party’s electability in the 2024 legislative election (Pileg).

The survey results predict that PDIP will occupy the top position followed by Gerindra Party, Golkar, PKB, PKS, Democrats, and NasDem. While the rest are below 4 percent or the parliamentary threshold.

The survey was conducted from January 28 to February 4, 2024 among 1,200 respondents. The sampling using a multistage random sampling method with a margin of error (MoE) of about ±2.9 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
