Four police officers arrested in connection with a case of suspected methamphetamine drug abuse in Cimanggis, Depok are now undergoing rehabilitation.
Metro Jaya Regional Police Director Kombes Hengki said the four members were undergoing rehabilitation because they were users of the chemical goods.
“If the name is a member user, a member who is a user who is the same as ordinary people, he violates the discipline of processing. If it is a user, we will rehab him,” Hengki told reporters on Tuesday (21/5).
However, Hengki said that the violation of the code of conduct committed by the four members is currently still being processed by the Metro Jaya Regional Police Propam Bid.
“Members who violate discipline will be processed by Bidpropam,” he said.
Previously, five police officers were arrested after allegedly being involved in a drug party in the Cimanggis area, Depok, West Java on Saturday (20/4).
“That’s right. There were five (members arrested) last Saturday,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi when confirmed via text message, Sunday (21/4).
However, of the five members, one of them was eventually released. Because, from the results of the urine test, the person concerned was tested negative.
“Our members on behalf of Dewo Nugroho are not involved in parties or drug use. Because it can be proven by urine test results with negative results from drug elements,” said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when contacted, Monday (22/4).
