The presence of presidential and vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming at Baharoeddin Siregar Stadium, Lubuk Pakam, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra on Wednesday (7/2) was welcomed by tens of thousands of people. The visit to North Sumatra was the second time for Prabowo-Gibran.
The arrival of the candidate couple (paslon) number 2 who was to attend the Advanced Indonesia Concert, was seen awaited by the public who crowded the location since 13.00 WIB.
Gibran arrived first, around 4:19 p.m. Before long, Prabowo was seen taking the stage, then waving and saluting the public. Both of them wear blue long-sleeved shirts.
“My deepest gratitude to the people of North Sumatra. We beg you to give a mandate to Prabowo-Gibran and the Advanced Indonesia Coalition to build the country we love,” Prabowo said.
On that occasion, Prabowo intimately hugged the children held by the mothers. He also fulfilled the demand of people who wanted to see the ‘gemoy’ dance directly.
Gibran followed later, moving to distribute souvenirs in the form of keychains as a sign of appreciation for the presence of supporting Prabowo-Gibran towards Advanced Indonesia.
In his speech, Prabowo expressed his gratitude for the welcome of the people of North Sumatra in the number 2 paslon campaign activity.
Prabowo emphasized that the support of the people of North Sumatra also determines the progress of the Indonesian nation in the future
“Horas! Sweat! Ya’ahowu! Ahoi! Thank you for such a kind and festive welcome to me. Thank you North Sumatrans for waiting for hours in the sun,” Prabowo said.
