Kediri Regent Hanindhito Himawan Pramana visited the DPD Nasdem Party Office in Kediri Regency, Saturday (4/5). He came to submit the registration form for the selection of candidates for regional heads in the 2024 regional elections to the Nasdem Party.
Hanindhito Himawan Pramana, familiarly called Mas Dhito, returned to the second period. This is because he feels that he still has responsibilities in Kediri Regency that need to be resolved.
The responsibility that needs to be completed, said Mas Dhito, is the construction of Gelora Daha Jayati Stadium, toll roads, to Jongbiru Bridge.
“The reason I registered and ran again in the 2024 regional election contestation was more to complete what I had to complete,” Dhito said in his statement on Saturday (4/5), quoted Monday (6/5).
Mas Dhito agreed that he has so far been serious about establishing communication with various political parties in the process of his candidacy in this year’s regional elections.
On the other hand, as a cadre of PDI Perjuangan, to run again in the second term, Mas Dhito admitted that he was still waiting for the mechanism and decision from the DPP PDI Perjuangan given to him.
As for other contestants who are rumored to be participating in the regent and deputy regent elections in this year’s regional elections, the man who has served as regent since 2021 did not answer much.
According to Mas Dhito, whether or not there are opponents in this year’s regional elections is a democratic process that must be passed. As was the case in the 2020 regional elections, her partner with Mbak Dewi had to fight an empty roof.
“For example, there will be no opponents, part of democracy,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of Nasdem Kediri Regency, Lutfi Mahmudiono said there were four names rumored to be registering with Nasdem.
Of the four names, two have confirmed. Mas Dhito is one of those who has submitted the registration form.
Lutfi explained that DPD Nasdem has opened registration from May 1 to 7, 2024. The names that enter, continued Lutfi, will be submitted to the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) to be re-deposited to the Nasdem Central Leadership Council (DPP).
“All those who register from Nasdem will be reported to the DPW, the DPW will proceed to the DPP. The final decision is the authority of the DPP,” he explained.
